Are you thinking about sprucing up your garden’s design a little bit? Doing so can not only help make your garden more visually pleasing, it can help boost your home’s curb appeal! Even something as simple as building a charming gate can have a huge impact.

You don’t necessarily need to have a fence wrapping around your property in order to have a gate. All you need to do is build a couple of posts that flank your property’s walkway and install a gate between them. You can even use greenery, such as bushes or tall plants, as a natural fence on either side of your gate’s posts. There are a number of different places that you can install your gate as well, such as leading to your garden, at the head of your walkway or leading to your front door. This project should only take you about three days to complete – one day for the posts, one day to cut the parts and build the gate and one day to attach the hardware and install the gate.

Build an adorable gate and be sure to contact us at Schutte Lumber for information about our Kansas City lumberyard.
