We recently came across an article in The Globe and Mail about the Canadian forestry industry sector, and how they are racing to improve their environmental practices in order to meet the need by a growing number of corporations to provide eco-friendly products, when available.

The move comes on the heels of conglomerates like Scholastic, a U.S. book publisher, determining that 65 percent of its print run for the newest Harry Potter installment would come from forests managed in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
