Build Your Own Cocktail Bar at Home

Would you like to have your own cocktail bar right in your home, but think you don’t have the room? A vertical cocktail hutch takes up very little floor and wall space and is surprisingly easy to make.

The frame of the hutch is fairly simple to create and assemble, and you can install shelves for bottles and hanging racks above for wine glasses and goblets. The bottom, with its notched boards, form an “X” to allow your wine bottles to nestle in and be readily at hand for any celebratory toast.

To give the hutch a complete finish, you’ll want to add crown and base molding, which is a little trickier but will give the hutch the professionally designed look you’re seeking in your home.
