  • When cutting the molding, don’t lay it flat. While this may seem the easiest way to cut your crown, it’s not. You would need a saw that allows you to tilt the blade and rotate it, not to mention a set of tables to know what the correct angles should be for the cuts.
  • Use a power miter saw. Place your material so that it is against the saw fence at the same angle that you plan on nailing it to the wall.
