There are many reasons to attend the International Builders Show each year, and one of the most popular is the new product releases. This year is no different, as a number of new and innovative building products and technologies are delighting attendees at IBS 2011 in Orlando this week.
In keeping with today’s economic climate, exhibitors are pushing products that reflect a shift toward home improvement and remodeling rather than new construction. Green building trends and products are also hot topics again.
There are a couple exhibitors we would like to highlight:
The Southern Pine Council is promoting its new “Southern Pine Decks and Porches” construction guide. (Schutte Lumber has a number of Southern pine lumber products. We will be spotlighting outdoor projects using Southern pine in the weeks to come.)
James Hardie is showcasing its full line of durable, low-maintenance fiber cement building products, including HardieShingle fiber cement siding and HardieTrim crown moulding. (Good news! You can find James Hardie at Schutte Lumber.)
We will bring you more from the builders show in a few days! Sign up to receive the latest news and trends from the International Builders Show sent straight to your inbox.
