Orientation Safety Training at the Guild Shop April 24

When it comes to woodworking, no measurements are as important as the proper safety measures. The Kansas City Woodworkers’ Guild is holding the next orientation safety training on April 24th, 2012 at 7pm.

This two and a half hour training session will prepare Guild members to use Sawdust Makers as well as allow them to participate in Guild sponsored projects and achieve Woodworker Plus membership. Trainees will leave with comprehensive knowledge of machine operation and complete confidence to work any machines in the KCWG shop. Visit the KCWG website for more details on how to sign up.

Remember that for open shop hours at KCWG, members are required to bring their own lumber. This is where Schutte Lumber can help. With our 13-acre lumberyard and showroom, we can offer all the woodworking supplies you will ever need. Don’t forget to bring your KCWG membership ID for a hefty discount!
