Congratulations to Summit Custom Homes for being chosen to build the 2011 St. Jude Dream Home in Kansas City, which will be given away to a lucky winner in June. The dream home, a collaborative project of local building contractors aims to raise $900,000 to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Helping with fundraising is a local family whose son is cancer-free after receiving treatment at St. Jude for an aggressive brain tumor when he was 6 months old.
The dream home, which is currently under construction, is being built in the Creekmoor subdivision, where Summit was one of the first builders. Creekmoor is a master planned community on nearly 1,000 acres in Raymore, Mo., that includes “a championship golf course, stocked private lake, acres of beautiful green space, country club lifestyle and affordable value.”
Tickets to enter the giveaway will be available in March, and all proceeds will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
