Home Show at Overland Park Convention Center
It’s that time of the year, the 2012 Home Show-Fall Edition is right around the corner! The doors at the Overland Park Convention Center open Friday September 14th at 10AM and this year’s event will feature over 200 exhibitors showcasing everything from home decorating ideas, new home products, maintenance tips for the changing seasons, cooking demonstrations and so much more!
This 2012 Home Show will have a special guest star; Vern Yip from TLC’s Trading Spaces and NBC’s Home Intervention. Yip said:
“I look forward to seeing a great audience and for creative interaction during my presentations.”
Owner and executive chef Jasper Mirabile of Jaspers, Jeff Martin the co-owner of Smallcakes and Mark Webster of The New Theatre Restaurant are just a few of the local celebrities scheduled to appear. On Saturday at 11AM, Mirabile will be hosting his 710AM radio show Live! From Jasper’s Kitchen on the Home Show Stage.
The Spaces Home Show Stage will be emceed by our own local HGTV favorite, Jennifer Bertrand. Bertrand will also be discussing her favorite decorating tips through-out the entire three day show.
The Home Show-Fall Edition will be open Friday and Saturday from 10AM-8PM and Sunday 10AM-6PM. Tickets are going fast and are $7 at the door for adults, $6 if purchased in advance on-line, children 12 and under are free. Military personnel and senior citizens are $6 and then on Sunday donate 3 canned food items or $3 to Harvesters and receive 2 for 1 admission.
