and Legacy
Founded by S.Z. Schutte in 1880, Schutte Lumber Company has remained committed to quality lumber, exceptional service, and family-owned values for more than a century. After operating as a family-owned business and managed trust for generations, the company was purchased by Daniel C. Fuhrman in 1997. On July 1, 2014, Michael D. Fuhrman continued that tradition by acquiring the business and carrying forward the legacy that has defined Schutte Lumber Company for over 135 years.
Today, our rich history continues to shape the future of our company while reinforcing the dedication, integrity, and customer service that have become synonymous with the Schutte name.

Pattern Matching
Our on-site mill allows us to provide specialized custom milling services that are difficult to find elsewhere. We specialize in matching hard-to-find patterns while also producing standard stock patterns used across many residential and commercial applications.
Most patterns can be produced in nearly any hardwood or softwood species from our inventory. If a specific species is unavailable, our team can source it through our trusted supplier network to help complete your project requirements.
