Build a Mirror Frame This Weekend

This do-it-yourself project turns a scrapped mirror–perhaps left over from a remodeling project–into fashionable decor with a handmade wooden frame. The folks at HGTV used birch plywood, chair rail, and molding to create a bold modern design, but you can also make a fun textured frame with leftover lumber pieces just as easily.  It’s a great weekend project you can do for under $100 with a few basic materials and tools.
