Decorating with Shiplap

Have you been following the HGTV show Fixer Upper?  If so, you know they LOVE shiplap.  This traditional rough sawn paneling is a great way to add rustic charm. Shiplap is often associated with a farmhouse or cottage look, but many decorators are flipping it and finding shiplap has a place in modern décor.

It is traditionally a pine paneling but it can be milled out of many species of wood to give that special feeling to your home. We are currently running a cedar shiplap custom project and  we also have a cypress project in line.   Below is a picture of some recently run shiplap.
