Loft Bed Project for Back-To-School

Loft beds: Parents love them. College students swear by them. A loft bed is a great space-saving solution and a fine weekend project you can do yourself. To build a loft bed, you will need the following materials:

• (1) 4 foot x 8 foot or 5 foot x 10 foot piece of 3/4 inch plywood.
• (5) 8 foot long 6 inch x 6 inch beams
• (6) 10 foot long 5 inch x 3/4 inch planks
• Circular saw
• Drill
• Wood screws
• Orbital sander
• Stain or paint
• Tape measure
• Step ladder
• A buddy
