Sometimes Nothing Beats DIY
There’s something special about using your own two hands to build and construct something all on your own. As a family owned and operated business, we are always excited to meet locals who are as passionate about creating and building as we are.
Just the other day, we stumbled across a blog written by a Kansas City native and member of the DIY Club who constructed an ottoman out of a utility cart. Not only did we find the project neat, but local blogger, Cheri, even incorporated us into her project. Take a look at how Cheri used the Schutte Lumber logo to add a neat vintage-type touch to her ottoman (we are one of the oldest businesses in Kansas City, after all).
Tell us in a comment about your most recent DIY woodworking project or one that you are most proud of. Send us a link to a photo of the finished project, too.
At Schutte Lumber we love helping our customers to take on woodworking projects of their own. Come visit our showroom at 3001 Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri and we’ll set you up with all the tools, hardware and wood (and even advice) that you need to create something you’ll really be proud of. Don’t forget check back to our blog or like us on Facebook to learn about upcoming woodworking classes, too.
